• Conflict with Other Christians Is Rooted in Our Own Flesh (verses 1-3)
  • Unfortunately, conflict happens between Christians
  • Your flesh is the root of conflict, not just that other person!
• You Can’t be Friends with Both God and the World (verses 4-5)
  • Friendship with the world is a constant risk for Christians
  • Friendship with the world automatically means hostility toward God
