Shining a Light on Who Jesus Really Is
July 20-24, 2026
Culture claims to know about Jesus, but many people are in the dark about who He really is. Some might see Jesus as just a person from history or a good man or a good teacher – but He is more than that! This summer, VBS will shine a light on the truth of who Jesus really is.
VBS is open to local children who will be in Grades Kindergarten to 6th Grade during the 2026-2027 school year (starting in August 2026).
Details
WHEN: July 20-24 (Monday-Friday) from 9 am to 12:30 pm each day
WHO: Open registration for children entering grades K-6 next school year (2026-2027 school year). Kids must be 5 years old by September 30, 2026 to register.
REGISTRATION OPENS: Opens May 1
REGISTRATION CLOSES: When we have reached capacity or July 16 end of day (whichever occurs sooner)
COST: There is no cost for Vacation Bible School at Lake Ridge Baptist Church. We do encourage the participants to help with a particular missions collection but this is entirely optional.
Youth Opportunity
Too old to attend VBS? Need some community service hours? For youth who will be entering grades 7-12 in the fall (2026-2027 school year) we can always use an extra set of hands. Consider volunteering for the week.
