Senior Saints is a ministry of LRBC to the 55 and older
adults in the Lake Ridge community. The purpose is to provide
services and activities to encourage and support older adults to
continue to live independently and to live more meaningful and
satisfying lives.
The Senior Saints meet for a luncheon every
2nd Tuesday of every month, except July. The luncheon costs
$3.00 and features guest speakers and activities.
To
participate, please call the Lake Ridge Baptist Church office at
703-494-8413 prior to the Friday before the luncheon to make
reservations. Transportation is available to local seniors with
prior reservation. The Senior Saints also plan half day trips to
local destinations such as Washington, DC and Fredericksburg,
VA, as well as overnight trips to destinations such as
Lancaster, PA. The costs of the trips vary. |
