Preschool Sunday School Preschool classes teach lessons incorporating music, Bible-focused activitites, and stories.
Hands on Bible The Hands On Bible is a class where preschoolers learn valuable lessons from the Bible. Teachers use everyday objects, just as Jesus did, to capture the child's attention and engage their senses to help reinforce Bible truths.
Sunday School for Grade School Children Sunday School is available for every age. During the 10:00 hour, children learn Bible truths through age-appropriate activities. Sunday School provides the children with a safe environment where they can grow and experience God's love. Classes for grade school children provide balanced learning in Bible concepts, essential Bible skills, and foundational Bible studies using Lifeway's Sunday School materials.
Children's Church Elementary students are encouraged to worship with their families. Teaching our kids to worship is the one thing we hope they will do for eternity! In addition, we do offer children's church during the 11:15 service in the fellowship hall. Children worship with their families in the sanctuary until the children's time that is usually right before the sermon. After the children's message, they go to the fellowship hall for an age directed message and activities. Children's church is geared toward kindergarten through 3rd grade children.
New Christians' Class This is a small group (10 or less) class offered for children who are beginning to ask questions and/or who are interested in becoming a Christian. This class has a flexible schedule, so please notify our Minister to Children if you are interested.
Children's Choirs KidPower (1st through 5th graders) meet in the sanctuary at 4 p.m. on Sundays September through December and February through April. WeeNotes (pre-kindergarten and kindergarteners) meet in room 5. Children learn the fundamentals of music and choir performance. They help lead in special worship services as well.
Family Time Training While children are in choir, Sherry Radcliffe (Minister of Children) leads parents in Family Time Training. This is a time to grow in our understanding of how to bring God and His word into our daily routines at home as well as finding ways to intentionally train our children in God's ways. We learn how to share object lessons with our kids to reinforce life applications of biblical principles in our lives.
