The Senior Saints is a ministry of Lake Ridge Baptist Church. Its purpose is to provide services and activities to help older adults continue to live independently and to live more meaningful and satisfying lives. The fellowship is open to all retirement-age adults in the community. You do not have to be a member of Lake Ridge Baptist Church to participate in our group.
Activities
Lunch We meet for lunch in Lake Ridge Baptist Church's Fuson Fellowship Hall at 12:00 p.m. on the 2nd Tuesday of each month. Call the church office for lunch reservations (703-494-8413). After lunch, we have time for fellowship, and listen to interesting speakers or participate in fun activities. We have had speakers from the Prince William Police Department, Potomac Hospital, the Retired and Senior Volunteer Program, and the Agency on Aging.
Other Activities have included craft projects, bingo, community service projects, entertainment by the children of the church's Mother's Day Out Preschool, watching old movies, and learning how to write our memoirs.
Trips We organize a variety of trips and outings to places of interest. We have been to the circus; the zoo; Lancaster, PA to the Sight and Sound Theater; Wolf Trap; Riverside Dinner Theatre; St. Michael's, MD; Skyline Drive; Richmond, VA; the National Cathedral; and have enjoyed Christmas at Gunston Hall; Stratford Plantation; Constitution Hall; and Fredericksburg, VA.

The Senior Saints offer the following services for participants.
Transportation We will try to provide transportation to our activities and to medical appointments if needed.
Home Repairs We provide minor home repairs to help you live independently in your own home.
Friendly Voices We make regular contact with you if you are homebound, or if you need a friendly word of encouragement.
