Adult Studies Adults have many opportunities for Bible study at Lake Ridge Baptist Church. We offer an adult Bible study on Wednesday evenings at 6:30 p.m. led by various teachers; a women's Bible study offered on Wednesdays at 9:45 a.m.; and various other studies in church members homes, including small group studies. Music Ministry
The Praise Team and Band ministers to the congregation at the 8:45 Celebration Praise service, while the Sanctuary Choir does the same at the 11:15 Traditional service on Sunday mornings. These groups meet weekly for practice and occasionally have dinners and retreats to better equip themselves for ministry. The Music Ministry performs both Christmas and Easter Cantatas each year.
LRBC also offers music opportunities for children and youth in the Youth Vocal Ensemble, Youth Praise Band, Preschool and Grade school choirs.
Prayer Quilt Ministry
Our Quilt Ministry gathers for fellowship and prayer as beautiful quilts are handcrafted for people both within and beyond our church family who might need extra comfort during a difficult time. Quilts are made and hung in our church with an explanation of the recipient. Church members are then encouraged to help finish the quilt by tying knots, each representing a prayer for the recipient.
Spring and Fall Workdays Adults are invited to join us for Church-wide workdays in the Spring and Fall to help us be good stewards of the property that God has given to us. Various projects need to be done around the church and we need your help! All you need is a willing spirit. Please notify Neil Newcomb if you have a specific skill that you would be willing to donate to this effort.
Sunday School Classes Lake Ridge Baptist Sunday School classes meet at 10:00 a.m. Many classes use Lifeway materials.
